Interstate Compact

Dear Susan and TIFA members:

My son is currently serving time in Fort Stockton, TX at the Lynaugh Unit and his review date is fast approaching. If my son is granted parole in October 2011 my husband and I would like for him to come live with us in Ruidoso, NM.

My questions are:

What can my son or I do to start the process for interstate compact?

Is there anyone that would like to share information to help us expedite this interstate compact process?

Is there a particular person in charge of this process and, if so, what is his/her name? How can they be reached?

Any and all information will be greatly appreciated.
