child support
While my son was in Bell County Jail he was taken to child support court in April and was ordered to pay $266 a month. In May the following month he married the mother of the children still while in jail. His wife just informed me that he owes back child support of $6,000 dollars at this time. I asked why she did not stop the child support because they are now married and she stated that if she stops the support she will not longer receive food stamps, medicaid, and ccs(child care). Is this true? And if so is there anyway I can get it stopped until he release. She also stated that she was told because they are married now the only way he can stop the order is if he is present. Is this true.....
